 Get Healthy - Check In

Does anyone have any goals, progress, or tips they'd like to share?

  • I am hoping to get back to my workout routine tonight.
  • My goal for this week is to drink more water. Today has started well in that regard, thanks in part to Gatorade Propel mix that I added to my water.
  • On vacation I got in the habit of eating breakfast so I want to try to get up early enough to make something before work...that will be a real challenge.

my goal is to do cardio for 30 mins everyday this week. so far so good.
my old trainer weighed and measured me today. from the last time we did this, two months ago, i lost 2.25 inches and 3.8 pounds. not a lot for two months but i will take it.

aimee, a small loss is still a loss! YAY for you!!!

This week I added a riser to the step platform that we use in the aerobics classes I take. OMGOSH!!! Talk about MORE sweat. Now to get a handle on the food......

I have been doing the treadmill or Wii fit for at least 45 minutes daily. when i do the treadmill, I add abdominals and biceps/triceps...ya know we have warm weather coming soon...can't hide under sweaters forever.

Way to go Judi! I'm glad you're giving yourself "me-time." Are you enjoying the Wii Fit?

And just so you know, I'm jealous that you have warm weather coming soon.

We finally went on a major grocery shopping run today and I'm happy to report that we bought almost all healthy foods. One of our two stops was probably 85% fruits and veggies. Today was the first time that Jason has also talked about changing eating habits, so it was great seeing him turn down pop and pick up lots of fresh produce. As he said, the hardest part will be keeping this up.

i don't have many tips, because i will eat healthy only if it is a big honkin' salad with a pound of toppings.

i look to all of you for inspiration.

oh, and to my shrinking ass for the strength to keep going.
