Wouldn't have minded getting the checkerboard one as well but will have to try to find one at another Michael's cause the one in my neighbourhood was sold out!

I have a few coupons and I definitely need to make a trip to M's soon.
I saw some punches I have to have: the little apple is so cute!! The new butterfly, those border punches are always gorgeous... So much stuff!!!

I didn't plan to go. But now that you remind of me of that apple punch...I might have to. I actually liked that one more than the cupcake.

An apple one? Not good. Last week I bought too many of those punches. What is happening to me? I have turned into a puncher. Tried out the checkerboard one and I like it. Haven't tried the picket fence, owl or cupcake yet. I will do that tonight!

Well, I broke down and bought the checkerboard one... and I had already gotten the double scallop and think I need the double arch... but I must wait a bit for that one. I actually only went to Michael's once this week. Now if I could cut back to once a month..... silent

I used the MS checkerboard punch on my first layout. Kind of a quiet tribute to Aleida, the Martha Stewart punch queen. Surprised

I used to buy my magazines with the coupons but they have stopped allowing one to use coupons on magazines. So, I guess that I am going to have to pay full price for my Scrapbook Trends magazines which are my favourite from now on. Mad

don't you seriously hate that they raised the price of that mag? i know it doesn't have any ads in it and it's all reader based stuff which is cool, but $15 just sucks!

Don't feel so bad. Here in Canada, we have to pay $18 for it.

Yes, it doesn't have many ads which kind of bugs me since I do like the ads so I can see what manufacturers are putting out and all that. But, I really like the quality of layouts that they put out there. They have great layouts which gives me a lot of good ideas.

ST is the only mag I buy now as well!
The best price I can get it for is at my LSS where I used to work where I guess 20% off (as a former employee). It's $18.95 here, minus 20%.... still kinda high. But, the subscription price, you're not saving anything either by the time they tack on the price for shipping. But, still love the mag and I think you get a lot for the money - especially compared to the other ones.

It is a wonderful magazine, it is just to bad that Michael's no longer lets one use the coupons on magazines. It is mighty expensive given these economic tough times. Oh well, I look and enjoy Rolling Eyes

I hate that you can't use the coupon on books or mags anymore. That is mostly what I used it for too! This weekend I did buy a MS stars border punch. so pretty... flower

must stay away from michaels. ours doesn't really have anything but the MS punches. they look so wonderful on the display and look so cute in the basket in my scrap area, i just can't for the life of me really figure out how to use them. challenge?

I did notice how cute they were in my basket, too. LOL! Definitely need to set a challenge to get us all to use them.

i love MS punches, but i never use mine either. so i go to Mike's pick up a few punches, walk around the store holding them to my breasts for dear life and then usually leave Mike's without buying them. only because i have a hard time using them.

a challenge might just do.

I don't have a Michaels anywhere near me.. have a Hobby Lobby though, which is almost as bad...

We have MS punches and stuff at WalMart though.
